GriefShare is a 13 week Bible-based DVD and discussion series for those who are grieving the loss of someone near and dear. It is a support group that will provide a safe and caring place to meet and share with others who are also on the difficult journey of grief. Many have found hope and encouragement by gathering with others. The DVD's feature clips from pastors, counselors and other people who will offer practical advice and reassurance. The series began on September 8, 2014, from 6:30 t0 8:30 p.m. at Grace Church, 1325 E. Jefferson St., Morton. There is no fee to participate. No child care is available. The Christian Center is once again thrilled to host the Father-Daughter Purity Ball. They hope you will join them as they encourage young women to commit to moral purity and help them understand the beautiful and righteous life God offers them. This year it will be held on November 1st at the Peoria Marriott Pere Marquette in downtown Peoria. The event is open to all girls, ages 12 and up.
