The 40 Days – Peoria Prayer Vigil will be starting up on September 28th. People will be gathering to pray outside the abortion clinic located at 7405 N University St in Peoria. They will be praying daily from 7am-7pm starting on the 28th and running through November 6th. There will be signs available to hold or walk with. The aim is to have people praying in support of life, all 40 days, 12 hours a day.
The central Illinois portion of the National Life Chain will be linked from 2-3pm on Sunday, October 2nd, on sidewalks along University Street. The Peoria Life Chain, characterized by silent prayer, will stretch from the city’s abortion clinic at 7405 N. University, past churches and schools, to the Metro Centre. Life Chain is a peaceful and prayerful public witness of pro-life Americans standing for one hour, praying for our nation and for an end to abortion. Signs will be distributed at the center of the Life Chain at the corner of University and Northmoor near Richwoods High School and St. Vincent de Paul Grade School starting at around 2pm. Until He Returns, an independent non-profit Bible prophecy ministry based in Morton, Illinois, is launching a new Bible study class on the first and third Mondays of every month in the Bloomington/Normal area beginning Monday, October 3, This dynamic prophecy class features the End Times in chronological order as taught by Dr. Ralph Wingate and Dr. Jim Cox. The Morton Annual Community Prayer Breakfast will be held on October 12th from 6-8am. This year's guest speaker is nationally syndicated commentator Cal Thomas.
