a 13 week Bible-based DVD and discussions series designed to give
hope and encouragement to anyone who is grieving the loss of a loved
one. This is a support group that provides a safe and caring place
to meet others who are on the journey of grief. They can understand
the heartache and questions of loss. The DVD's feature clips from
counselors, pastors and others who offer practical suggestions and
reassurance. This series will begin on Monday, January 12th from 6:30-8:30pm
at Grace Church, located at 1325 E. Jefferson St. in Morton. There

Join Evening Community Bible Study (CBS) at Woodland Baptist Church now! Community Bible Study is an interdenominational Bible study for men and women of all ages and all levels of scripture knowledge. It is composed of individual study at home, small group discussions, effective teaching, and fellowship. Join Glad Tidings Assembly of God for a one day event hosted by Gary Chapman called, “The Marriage You’ve Always Wanted” on February 14th from 9am-3:30pm. This is a conference dedicated to laughter, love, and to help you build the love relationship of your dreams. The 33rd Illinois Volunteer Regiment Band will present a free concert on February 15th at 3pm at St. John's Lutheran Church. A reception to meet the band will follow the performance. The 33rd Illinois Volunteer Regiment Band is an authentic re-creation of music, instruments and garb of the actual Civil War era band that was mustered at State Normal University. Immanuel Baptist Church in Monmouth, IL will be sponsoring our 2nd annual “God’s Country” Outdoor Expo on February 21st from 2–5:30pm at the Monmouth-Roseville High School.
