The Common Bond Quartet will be in concert on Sunday, May 22nd at 6:00pm at Tri-Valley Baptist Church, 8385 N 1900 East Road in Bloomington. A love offering will be received. For more information call Caleb at 309-750-8478.

 

The Central Illinois Right to Life Sanctity of Human Life Rally will take place at 7pm on May 24th. This year’s speaker will be Monica Cline, a former Training Manager for Planned Parenthood which included teaching Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE) for over a decade. Today, Monica exposes the harm to our children caused by CSE.  Monica’s goal is to encourage parents to take on their God given role as primary educators for their children. Her ministry is It Takes A Family Inc. The rally will be held at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, located at 2025 N Kickapoo Creek Rd in Peoria. Join Evangelical United Methodist Church on May 28th for The Lesters Gospel Concert! The concert will begin at 7pm and tickets are $5. A free-will offering will also be taken. For more information or to purchase tickets, call Don Moushon at 309-453-4873.

 

Youth Alive is excited to present, The Equip Student Conference! This will be a regional student conference with a focus on helping students in Jr High, Sr High, and College become effective with their faith on their school campuses. Two of Illinois’ best evangelists and pastors will be coming to pour into your students. James River Worship will be leading everyone in worship. The event is on May 28th from 12-5pm at Peoria First Assembly of God. To follow, there will be a 2-hour after party with food trucks, bowling, basketball, and arcade at the Christian Center until 7pm. For more information and to register, call 815-343-2970.

 

Mark your calendars for “Date Night at the Savage Farm”! Food, fun, faith, marriage encouragement, and music in a beautiful country setting; it doesn’t get much better than that! Local authors Mark & Jill Savage are hosting this outdoor event on June 3rd at 5pm at their farm in Normal, featuring Nashville based duo, Out of the Dust. Cost is $20 per person.
