Woodland Baptist Church’s annual Community Bible Study will be starting back up on September 5th! CBS is a Bible study for men, women and children of every denomination and every level of understanding.  Its mission is to make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ in our communities through caring, in-depth Bible study, available to all.  This year's 30 week study will include; Joshua, Job, Christian Leadership and Philippians. The cost is $35 for adults and $10 for children. The class will meet every Thursday night from 7-8:30pm September through April. Woodland Baptist Church is located at 6915 N. Allen Road in Peoria. Ladies, mark your calendars for Grace Church’s “Broken into Beautiful” Women’s Conference on September 7th! Featured speaker Gwen Smith will present her message and sing as part of this one-day mini conference. The cost is $20 per person and includes lunch. GriefShare is a 13 week Bible-based DVD and discussion series designed to give hope and encouragement to anyone who is grieving the loss of a loved one. This support group provides a safe and caring place to meet with others who are on the journey of grief and who understand the heartaches and questions of loss.

This series will begin on September 9th  from 6:30-8:30pm at Grace Church, 1325 E. Jefferson St., in Morton. There are no fees to participate and there will be no child care is available. For further information or to register, please call the church office at 309-266-9281.



The 45th Annual Mayor’s Leadership Prayer Breakfast will be held on September 26th at 6:30am at the Peoria Civic Center and you’re invited! Lt. Gen.
