The Community Harvest Food Pantry, an outreach ministry of Trinity Mennonite Church, is open on Saturday mornings, 10 a.m. until noon at the church facility, 1901 S. Fourth Ave., in Morton. Washington Christian Church is collecting denim jeans for wounded soldiers overseas. The church is working with “Operation Quiet Comfort” to turn the denim material in quilts that have “get well” and “thinking of you” messages on them, and then will be sent to military hospitals overseas. Morton United Methodist Church, 420 N. Tennessee Ave., in Morton, invites children and their families to attend Vacation Bible School from Sunday, June 28th, through Thursday, July 2nd.
