Come see “Acts a City Rising” performed live by the students of Peoria Cooperative Academy on Thursday, May 15th at 7pm and Friday, May 16th at 2pm and 7pm. In this engaging, family-friendly adaptation of scripture, an eclectic group of fishermen, Pharisees, and vagabonds risk everything to follow Jesus of Nazareth, and He completely changes their lives. “Acts a City Rising” gives Biblical characters a face while telling their incredible stories of persevering faith through high-energy dance numbers and over twenty Broadway style songs.
