The 22nd Annual Pray for the Cure will be held on May 8th at 6:30pm at Salem Lutheran Church, located at 1700 W. War Memorial Drive in Peoria. Pray for the Cure focus is breast cancer, however all persons affected by cancer are invited to participate in the prayer service. Join in for this ecumenical prayer service that brings together breast cancer survivors, and their family and caregivers, health care providers, and local support agencies and organizations. Pray for the Cure enhances spiritual well-being during treatment, recovery and beyond the disease. The event emphasizes hope, love and courage through special prayers, music and speakers.
